1.Recent prime ministers of the country 2021. 

    1. Italy – Mario Draghi – He was born 3 September 1947, he has  join as Prime Minister of Italy on 13 February 2021.
    2. Mauritius – Pravind Jugnauth: Anerood Jugnauth, former Prime Minister and President of Mauritius passed away on 3 June. He was the longest serving Prime Minister of Mauritius. He was called the father of the Mauritian economic miracle of 1980s.


2.World Environment Day was cel on 5th June 2021 with the theme “Ecosystem Restoration”. 

This year Pakistan hosted the World Environment Day event. 


3.David Diop won the “International Booker Prize 2021” for his book “At Night All Blood is Black”. 

The French book “Frere d’ame” written by Anna Moschovakis was translated in English by David Diop.


4.Dr. Patrick Amoth of Kenya is appointed as the chairman of WHO executive board. 


5.Lieutenant General Pradeep Chandran Nair becomes the DG of Assam Rifle.

Kolkata Port Trust is India’s only riverine port.
